Rockstone Financial Training was created to make financial education easier to understand and apply, while preparing those who want to use that knowledge to help others.
Our work is built around three connected areas:
Financial Education. Professional Coach Training. Business Development.
Each serves a different need, but all are grounded in the same belief: knowledge becomes more valuable when people understand how to use it.
Why Rockstone Exists
Rockstone grew from more than 25 years of experience in the finance industry and one observation that became increasingly difficult to ignore.
Income alone does not determine how well someone manages money.
Throughout my career, I saw people at very different income and wealth levels struggle with many of the same financial decisions. Some earned six figures yet lived paycheck to paycheck. Others received significant inheritances or accumulated substantial resources but still lacked the financial foundation needed to manage those resources well.
The issue was often not effort or intelligence.
Many people had simply never been taught the basics of how money works or how to approach important financial decisions with a clear understanding of the choices in front of them.
That experience shaped what Rockstone would become.
I wanted to create education that made financial concepts easier to understand for individuals while also preparing others to take that knowledge further, to coach, educate, and serve people in their own communities.
Rockstone Financial Training was built to do both.
What Rockstone Does
Financial Education
Financial knowledge begins with understanding.
Rockstone provides straightforward financial education designed to help individuals better understand the decisions that affect their everyday financial lives.
Topics such as budgeting, saving, debt, credit, car buying, home buying, and other areas of personal finance are approached with clarity and real-life application in mind.
For individual learners, Financial Foundations: Personal Finance for Real-Life Money Decisions provides a place to begin.
Professional Financial Coach Training
Knowing personal finance is important.
Knowing how to help another person work through financial decisions requires something more.
The Rockstone Financial Coach Training & Certification Program was created to prepare aspiring and developing financial coaches for the work of serving clients professionally.
The program brings together financial education, the coaching process, client service, practical tools, and business preparation so participants can move beyond simply knowing financial information and begin learning how to apply it in a coaching relationship.
For those who are still exploring the profession, Mastering the Start: 5 Steps to Becoming a Financial Coach provides a free introduction to the path.
Business Development
Learning how to coach and learning how to build a coaching business are not the same thing.
Financial coaches also need to understand the business surrounding the coaching itself, how they communicate their value, develop client relationships, deliver a dependable experience, make thoughtful business decisions, and build a practice that can grow with intention.
Rockstone’s business development resources support that side of the work through books, tools, and guidance focused on helping coaches build stronger professional practices.
Meet Dinia A. Regular
Founder, Financial Educator, Author, and Creator of Rockstone Financial Training
My career in finance began in banking, where I developed a foundation in personal finance and saw how everyday financial decisions affected individuals and families.
Later, my work in the investment industry gave me a different perspective. I worked around people with greater income and financial resources and saw firsthand that having more money did not automatically create stronger financial habits or better financial decisions.
That experience stayed with me.
Over time, I became increasingly interested not only in financial knowledge itself, but in how that knowledge is taught, communicated, and used to help people make better decisions.
That interest eventually became the foundation for Rockstone Financial Training.
Today, my work focuses on financial education, professional financial coach preparation, and helping coaches understand the business and client relationships behind a strong practice.
I am the creator of the Rockstone Financial Coach Training & Certification Program and the author of:
- Financial Foundations: Personal Finance for Real-Life Money Decisions
- Your Guide to Growing Your Financial Coaching Business: Attract, Engage and Retain Clients
- Date, Dump, or Marry Your Client: Satisfying Clients, Building Relationships and Knowing What’s Needed to Retain Them
Each was created for a different stage of the journey, from understanding personal finance, to learning how to build a financial coaching business, to strengthening the client relationships that help sustain it.
What connects all of this work is a commitment to clarity, thoughtful education, strong service, and helping people turn knowledge into something they can actually use.
The Rockstone Standard
Financial education should be clear enough to understand and useful enough to apply.
Professional coach training should prepare people for the responsibility of serving others.
Business development should strengthen both the practice and the client relationships behind it.
Resources should have a purpose beyond simply providing more information.
And the people who come to Rockstone should leave better equipped to make decisions, serve others, and move forward with greater clarity.
Knowledge matters most when people know how to use it.
